FNF: The Pico Day Mod and Friday Night Funkin’ (FNF) has been one of the most popular indie games of 2021, with its unique blend of rhythm-based gameplay and quirky characters. The game spawned numerous mods, with each one adding new songs, characters, and levels to the game. One of the most recent mods to hit the FNF scene is the Pico Day Mod.

The Pico Day Mod is a two-song mod that pays homage to the fact that it’s Pico Day. Pico Day is an annual event held on April 30th that celebrates the popular character Pico from the Newgrounds website. The mod features two songs, “Pico’s School” and “Pico’s Story,” which are based on the popular flash game series of the same name.

Pico Day Mod apart is the attention to detail!

The mod itself is fairly simple, but it’s also incredibly fun to play. The songs are both upbeat and catchy, with the same level of difficulty as the base game. However, what really sets the Pico Day Mod apart is the attention to detail that the modders have put into it. From the new background images to the custom animations for the characters, everything about the mod feels polished and well thought out.

But let’s talk about the “subtle nod” to Pico Day. The truth is, there’s nothing subtle about it. The modders have gone all out to make sure that players know that this is a Pico Day celebration. The main menu has been replaced with a custom image featuring Pico himself, and the song titles are both references to Pico’s School and Pico’s Story. Even the loading screen has been changed to include a Pico Day message.

The FNF: The Pico Day Mod is a fantastic addition to the FNF modding scene. It’s a fun, well-made mod that pays homage to one of the most popular characters from the Newgrounds website.
